“From the start of the season James has been at the heart of a fantastic team which has taken all before them in the top flight. However in the last month he has taken it to another level with his work rate and at times breathtaking skill to set up opportunities for both himself and teammates.
Goals have flowed with ‘hat tricks’ in each of the last 3 games with none better than when he demolished the Leichhardt Tigers in the second half – scoring 4 of the 6 goals in the 8-4 win after being down 2-3 at half time. But it is not just his skills but also his attitude and unassuming demeanour on the field that have attracted comments from the opposition and other observers. James is quietly spoken but through his efforts on the field has set a great example of how the game can and should be played.“
