“Like most of the U6s this year Marcus’ team has struggled against superior and apparently more experienced opposition but Marcus has continued to show the way for his teammates. He has shown great skill with his long runs and his accurate and powerful shooting at goal. He is always there in defense as well. It is no surprise that in each of the two matches his team has won this year he scored a hat-trick. He is very loyal to his teammates and is always talking up their abilities. Last week on the Tuesday morning after training he asked ‘how long to my next soccer match?’ When informed that it was 4 days he immediately pumped his fists and exclaimed ‘YEESS’. His enthusiasm and skill have been vital to the team who are showing great improvement and focus and in the last couple of weeks are really starting to look like a soccer team. Well done Marcus.“
