Leichhardt Saints FC congratulates the many teams who participated in the first week of Semi Final action over the weekend with the majority recording some outstanding results in their fiercely contested matches.
The Over 35/6 and Over 35/7 teams both won 2-1 against their opposition; Over 30s Womens team won 4-0 and U15 Girls/2 won 2-0. Also the U12/2 won their semi 1-0 and Under 21/2 team won 2-1.
All of these teams have progressed to either a Grand Final directly or play in the preliminary final round this coming weekend.
The Under 16Girls/2 team and AA Womens 4 team were narrowly defeated in their semi finals.
The Under12 Girls/1 team, who are the Minor Premiers of their comp will commence their Finals series this weekend.
