Training reminder, particularly U6s & U7s
Welcome to the Leichhardt Saints! Just a reminder that, weather permitting, training will begin this coming week - that's Wed 10th March for U6s & U7s (and U8s too), at 4:45pm sharp, on King George Oval. The park cannot be accessed via Darling Street, you will have to enter from westbound Victoria Rd; turn left on either Callan, Toelle or Clubb. Team lists will be posted there.
If there is any uncertainty about the weather, please make sure you have signed up for the mail list through the 'Mail List' tab on the user menu at right. Council updates its grounds closure information line (9367-9190) at about 3pm each day, so you can check that if you are concerned and haven't had an email about it.
If someone would just volunteer to run it, we'd like to have a table set up to sell shorts, socks and second-hand soccer boots. Come on over to the canteen if you can help! After your first night of training 2010, please stay and enjoy a sausage on a roll prepared on the club's brand new barbeque. (Remember too, all players must wear soccer boots and shin pads to all training sessions as well as games). See you on the pitch!
