The LSFC Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Eileen Leather as Club Administrator for the 2010 season.

The Saints are fortunate to have Eileen's organizational and administrative skills, expertise and experience along with her commitment to the Club to ensure smooth and efficient operations for the next 12 months.

Many of you will know Eileen well through her period of work as a Committee member in a range of capacities - CDSFA Rep, Junior and Senior Vice President, Member Protection Officer along with a host of activities in fundraising and social events.

We welcome her ongoing contributions to Leichhardt Saints FC.

Both the Leichhardt Saints teams unfortunately lost in their Champion of Champions matches on 20 September.  The U21s lost to Quakers Hill 4-2  and the All Age Women lost 4-1 to Milton/Ulladulla, a very good team from the Shoalhaven Association.  Roll on next season!

Following 2 very exciting Grand finals on Saturday, which saw the U10/1s, after finishing 1-1 at full time, execute a perfect penalty shoot out, to take it 4-2 with a ball to spare, and the AA/4s, with many long standing players in their ranks, win 4-2 in extra time, after being 2-all at full time, five more were contested on Sunday.  The U11G/2 won 1-nil, the U15G/2 won 1-nil in extra time, saving everyone the agony of a penalty shoot out, and the U21/1A team won 2-0.  What a fantastic effort by all - 5 perpetual trophies for our virtual trophy cabinet.  Well done to all. There are lots of happy little and big Saints, both male and female.

The young Women/1 team played an extremely exciting, and very competitive top of the table clash against Balmain, but unfortunately lost in the Penalty Shoot-out, after it was drawn 2-2.  They still have the Champion of Champions to look forward to, together with the U21 boys. Our final game today, the U12G/1B team's Gold Grand final, unfortunately was also lost to Balmain, 2-1.  We are very proud of how far they have come, however.
